From the start, art has always been my go-to creative outlet, which is what inspired me to call my studio 3721. Thirty seven twenty one is the house number I grew up in—it’s what led me to where I am today.
I have a total of 9 years of design experience—that’s right, young designers, age doesn’t define your work! I went to school & got a degree in strategic communications with an emphasis in art direction, but education experience doesn’t define a designer, either.
My experience began in publication design in early high school. I learned a lot of the innerworkings of the software and endlessly watched videos of design tutorials and resources that helped develop me into the designer I am today.
I am completely self-taught (hint hint as to why I don’t think a degree is necessary in the design industry. Get enough experience wherever you can and you don’t need a design degree.) As I started learning more and more about the intersection of design & strategy, I really developed my love for brand.
